Back in Europe for the third straight year, first time ever I think? Only rub is more Sunday games.
We will be seeded, so hopefully should at least make the last 16. Group stage draw at the end of August.

Juventus & our old buddies Eintract Frankfurt will be in the Conference League next season along with Aston Villa.

Not so sure- Liverpool might see this as a banker to get into the CL, especially if the league looks tough.

A couple of scenarios might see Liverpool throw this, if they are battleling for the title or a champions league placing, they might decide to put out weakened sides if they think taking it seriously is becoming detrimental to those obvious priorities. Having said that there's a few others in the mix that would be very tough draws.

Agree, we definitely won't get an easier run to the final than last year, but to give us credit there are not many tougher games than Sevilla in the Europa League.
Haven't they won it 5 times in 7 years or something silly?

Unless some very strange maths happen, we should be favourites to get out of our group.
Be nice to win ours and avoid the Champions League drop-downs for a round. After that it will be tough again and probably more so.
But we will handle our transfer business and summer with aplomb as always. Right?

Liverpool will def be favourites. Tbh I don't think we have a hope in hell of winning the thing, very unlikely a path will open up again like it did last year, more of the bigger sides taking this comp seriously now. But, it's more away days for our fans, more European home nights, more income and more chance of attracting better players this summer. Good enough.

It's pretty hard to look past them, to be completely honest, unless they are as up and down as they were during parts of last season or a massive team drops out of the CL.

Klopp and Liverpool will give this a good go I think and will probably be favourites.
Especially as the Final is in Dublin which is practically home advantage for them.

You can't draw sides from your own association until the last 8.

I think we can't be drawn with Liverpool or Brighton in the group stage, and that all three of the sides enter then.
We are in pot 1 along with:
Liverpool
Roma
Villarreal
Bayer Leverkusen
Atalanta CC
So we avoid all those sides.
Sporting Lisbon and Rennes may go into pot 1 depending on the final list of teams.
Betis, Freiburg and Toulouse are in the lower pots thus far along with Brighton. Whoever draws Brighton in their group will be in for a shock, unless they lose all their players.
